EirGrid Munster U21 Football Championship Semi-Finals**

Kerry v Limerick, Austin Stack Park, Tralee, 7.30pm

Injuries have hampered Kerry's preparations significantly, but the Kingdom were still heartened by last Wednesday's quarter-final victory over Tipperary.

That 0-11 to 1-7 Kerry win at the same venue was achieved even though the home team played the majority of the match with only 14 men following Matthew O'Sullivan's dismissal.

Having gleaned All Ireland minor titles in 2014 and 2015 Kerry are keen to embark on a successful journey in the U21 grade.

Kerry haven't claimed a Munster title at U21 level since 2008, but manager Jack O'Connor and selectors Eamonn Whelan, Micheál O’Shea, and Declan O’Sullivan have stitched a promising group of players together.

A raft of Limerick senior panelists will be involved for the visitors' including Sean O'Dea, who featured in UCD's Sigerson Cup winning campaign.

Waterford v Cork, Fraher Field, 7.30pm

Five Munster titles in the past seven years confirms Cork's recent excellence at this level so they plan to advance to another provincial decider.

A convincing 0-23 to 0-8 triumph over Clare hinted at the potential in Sean Hayes' team with Sean O'Donoghue contributing six points during that success.

Initially Clare were resilient, but Cork, who have named an unchanged starting XV for tonight's clash, finished the first half strongly emerging comfortable victors.

The 2015 Munster final loss to Tipperary ensures several of the current Cork squad are anxious to return there again. Waterford's Aidan Dwyer, Conor Prunty, Eoin O'Brien, and Feargal O'Cuirrín are capable footballers for the underdogs.

**WATERFORD: **Kevin Dwane (Ballinacourty); Ciaran O'Neill (Brickey Rangers), Stephen Dalton (De La Salle), Dermot Ryan (The Nire); William Hahessy (Rathgormack), Aidan Dwyer (Geraldines), Jack Mullaney (Stradbally); David Gartland (Ardmore), Conor Prunty (Ballinacourty); Liam Mulligan (Rathgormack), Eoin O'Brien (Stradbally), Jason Curry (Rathgormack); Conor Murray (Rathgormack), Tom Devine (Modeligo), Feargal O'Cuirrín (An Rinn).
