Limerick manager John Kiely is delighted that the Treatymen have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the intriguing July 29 All Ireland Semi-Final against Cork.

An eagerly anticipated clash between the two Munster counties beckons at Croke Park. 

Paul Browne is Limerick's only absentee with a knee injury for the game. "We are good," Kiely stated at a press briefing at the Gaelic Grounds on Thursday evening. "We have a clean bill of health. We are very fortunate in that regard all year. Long may it continue."

Kiely is satisfied with the depth of the Limerick panel with last weekend's Quarter-Final success over Kilkenny providing further encouraging evidence. Peter Casey, Shane Dowling, and William O'Donoghue contributed handsomely for Limerick.

"We have been looking for that all year," Kiely admits. "Every team is at the end of the day. There’s a lot of credit due to the lads the way they did come in and get involved in the game as quickly as they did. 

"It was a very intense game and those games can be hard for lads coming off the bench to get in and make an impact. 

"But all credit to the three of them for the impact that they made. It is expected but it is difficult and we understand the challenge of that."

Casey's availability is a significant boost for Limerick according to Kiely. "It’s great to get Peter back on the pitch," Kiely states. "We knew he was coming back off a really difficult winter from an injury perspective. He was always going to take a bit of time. And we have been very patient with him. 

"We weren’t prepared to use him until we knew he was ready to get involved and make an impact. There was no point in asking him before he was ready. It was great for him. Great for his confidence as well and great for the team."
