Saturday June 2

Munster Senior Hurling Championship

Cork v Limerick, Pairc Ui Chaoimh, 7pm

Cork have collected three points from two matches, while Limerick return to action following the opening weekend win over Tipperary.

Both teams have designs on earning a top two spot down south so this match will be defining as Limerick seek to build on their fine victory against the Premier County.

Cork hurled magnificently in the opening period at Semple Stadium with Shane Kingston prominent, but Tipperary recovered to force a draw.

How Cork respond to that disappointing second half display will be critical, but John Meyler's panel isn't short on classy or competitive players.

Limerick have plenty of depth too following a string of recent underage successes and this game promises to be interesting. Whoever collects the spoils will be in a really healthy position in Munster.
