The promising Galway forward received 4,489 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Dublin's Seán Bugler (3,194) and Tyrone's Michael McKernan (2,138).

Cillian Ó Curraoin struck five points, including one gorgeous two pointer, in Galway's win over Armagh under the new Pearse Stadium floodlights. Ó Curraoin was also fouled for a penalty which was converted by colleague, Matthew Tierney.
Seán Bugler (Dublin)
Dublin edged out Mayo at Croke Park on Saturday evening with Seán Bugler prominent throughout. Remarkably, the dynamic Bugler finished with a seven point haul.
Michael McKernan (Tyrone)
A key figure in Tyrone's Allianz Football League Division One win over Derry, Michael McKernan repeatedly surged forward impressively. McKernan contributed 1-2 for Malachy O'Rourke's outfit.
