National Games Development Centre
Since it’s official opening on 2 April 2016 the GAA National Games Development Centre (NGDC) based on the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown has hosted thousands of members of our association. The facility boasts five pitches, four of them flood lit, a ball wall area, ten dressing rooms and meeting rooms. All codes, football, hurling and camogie are catered for. The All-Ireland Rounders Finals are played there at the end of August. The NGDC also hosts regional feile finals in both hurling and football, Camogie interprovincial series, Club Players training nights, underage blitzes and much more.
Clubs and counties from all over Ireland and abroad use the facility for both matches and training and bookings are made through club/county secretaries by emailing ngdcbooking@gaa.ie. Club/county officials should supply an official email address, name and mobile number. The NGDC is open 7 days a week.
