Games Development Personnel
With the assistance of funding from Sport Ireland (formerly known as the Irish Sports Council), the Association employs over 300 Games Development Personnel nationwide, who are responsible for the implementation of activities under the Grassroots to National Programme.
Games Development Personnel are deployed at National, Provincial and County level. Since 2009 Games Development Managers (GDMs) have been deployed in all Counties. Each County has introduced a variable structure of Games Development Administrators (GDA) and Games Promotion Officers (GPO), depending on the county’s requirements.

County Games Development Managers (GDMs) are the main Games Development operative at county level and in conjunction with the County Games Development Committee, has responsibility for implementing the Grassroots to National Programme within the County. He/she reports to the Provincial Games Development Manager.

Games Development Administrators (GDAs) are responsible for the implementation of Games Development Policy in a Division of a county or for a particular Code. He/she reports to the County Games Development Manager.

Games Promotion Officers (GPOs) are responsible for the implementation of a specific number of Games Development projects. He/she reports to the County Games Development Manager.
