Kilkenny's Conor Fogarty has announced his retirement from inter-county action.
Fogarty won four All-Ireland SHC titles, nine Leinster SHCs, and five Allianz Hurling League medals during his Kilkenny career.
The Erins Own clubman made his Kilkenny senior debut in 2011, with former playing colleague and current manager, Derek Lyng, acknowledging his service.
“It has been a privilege to have worked alongside Conor whose contributions to Kilkenny hurling have been significant," Lyng says.
"His humble attitude demonstrated his strong work ethic and discipline, and he played a pivotal role in Kilkenny’s successes down through the years.
"Conor will be greatly missed and I wish him all the best as he enters retirement.”
