The Cork hurlers had a gym session this evening after Sunday’s dramatic All-Ireland SHC semi-final win over Limerick and every member of the panel was fit and present.

Team manager, Pat Ryan, confirmed at the team’s All-Ireland Final media event afterwards they have no current injury concerns ahead of the clash with Clare on July 21.

“No, just a few bangs and bruises but nothing that will stop anybody training on Wednesday,” said Ryan.

The Cork team bus didn’t make it home until 2am on Monday morning, but not even traffic congestion could spoil the mood after their epic win over reigning champions Limerick.

“Fellas were delighted, it was a huge task going up to Croke Park and beating Limerick," said Ryan. "There is no point telling you how good a team they are.

“Look, there was great satisfaction in that win. We had a few drinks down on the bus and fellas were ready to go today for a gym session there now. Fellas are in great form and we’ll be back in training on Wednesday.

“We looked back at the game this morning. Just did our bit of analysis and we tidied that off there just before the gym session.

“We’ll meet in the morning again and go through the whole Clare game and deliver on Wednesday what we want to do against Clare.”
