The Tyrone star received 3,473 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Derry's Shane McGuigan (2,886) and Donegal's Peadar Mogan (2,006).

The in-form Shane McGuigan contributed 1-6 as Derry enjoyed an impressive Allianz Football League win over Mayo in Castlebar. The Slaughtneil clubman also crafted chances for Mickey Harte's outfit.
Peadar Mogan (Donegal)
Peadar Mogan summoned a dynamic display as Donegal secured promotion in the Allianz Football League, defeating Kildare at Netwatch Cullen Park. Mogan thundered forward at every opportunity, finishing with five points from play.
