Ultimately, it means Portaferry completed a three in a row in Down, avenging a group stage loss to Ballygalget earlier in the campaign.
Eoghan Sands and Daithí Sands netted goals for Portaferry, who accumulated a 2-8 to 0-3 lead.
McGrattan added a third goal before Marc Fisher responded with a major for Ballygalget, who trailed 3-10 to 1-5 at the interval.
After the restart Ballygalget battled with Oisín Coulter grabbing a goal, but Portaferry closed out the game comfortably.
