This week's Footballer of the Week nominees are Mark Barry, Ruairí McCann, and Dean Healy.

Antrim’s Ruairí McCann, Wicklow’s Dean Healy, and Limerick’s Emmett Righter are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Footballer of the week.

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Ruairí McCann (Antrim) – Antrim faced stiff resistance from London in their Tailteann Cup preliminary round quarter-final and were thankful for the clinical finishing of Ruairí McCann who scored two goals that were crucial to their hard-fought victory.

Dean Healy (Wicklow) – Dean Healy was superb for Wicklow in their Tailteann Cup preliminary round quarter-final victory over Leitrim. He scored four points from play and created many opportunities for others too.

Mark Barry (Laois) – Laois were pushed hard by New York in their Tailteann Cup preliminary quarter-final and were thankful for the cool finishing of Mark Barry who scored 0-3 from play to steer them to victory.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
