Wexford’s Conor Foley, Limerick’s Shane O’Brien, and Tipperary’s Jake Morris are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.
Voting will close at 10am on Wednesday February 7, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
Conor Foley (Wexford)
Foley produced a thundering display for Wexford at full-back their draw against Kilkenny at Nowlan Park. He scored two points from play and his ability to win ball and then start counter-attacks with accurate stick-passing was very impressive.
Shane O’Brien (Limerick)
A start at underage level for Limerick, Shane O’Brien looks like he might be ready to make a big impact in the senior grade this year going on his performance against Antrim. He scored 1-5 from play and his speed, size, skill, and scoring instinct is very impressive.
Jake Morris (Tipperary)
Tipperary’s vice-captain certainly showed a lot of leadership in the Premier County’s win over Dublin. He scored 1-4 from play with the goal a ruthless finish that killed off the Dublin challenge.
