In an epic encounter at Croke Park on Sunday Brian Hayes starred for Cork in the win over Limerick. The St Finbarr's clubman struck 1-4 for Pat Ryan's outfit during an absorbing match.
David McInerney (Clare)
Clare finished with a flourish against Kilkenny with David McInerney outstanding throughout. The experienced Banner stalwart was an influential figure for Brian Lohan's team.
Aaron Gillane (Limerick)
Aaron Gillane, the classy Limerick forward, struck 0-10, including six from play against Cork. Patrickswell clubman Gillane impressed once again at GAA headquarters.
