Liam Lavin – Mayo

Liam Lavin excelled for Mayo in their Allianz Hurling League Division 3 victory over Cavan. The livewire attacker tortured the Cavan defence and finished with a personal tally of 1-5 from play.

Mark Cunningham – Westmeath

Mark Cunningham carried the fight for Westmeath in their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B defeat to Laois, scoring three points from play.

Patrick Purcell – Laois

Patrick Purcell was his usual inspirational self for Laois in their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B victory over Westmeath. He drove his team forward from midfield time and again, and landed two sweet points.
