Galway’s Anthony Burns, Limerick’s Barry Murphy, and Offaly’s Killian Sampson are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, February 11, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

Anthony Burns (Galway)

Anthony Burns was sensational for Galway in their win over Clare on Saturday. The inside forward displayed great skill, speed, and finishing ability as he scored 2-3 from play.

Barry Murphy (Limerick)

Barry Murphy has been reinvented as a corner-back this year by Limerick and really looks the part. An excellent performance against Cork was followed up with a man of the match display against Tipperary as he made a series of canny defensive interceptions and put Limerick on the front-foot with some excellent passing.

Killian Sampson (Offaly)

Killian Sampson was a ball of energy for Offaly in their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B victory over Antrim. He scored 1-4 from play and also set up Dan Ravenhill’s goal with a great pass.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
