Adam Hogan was a huge defensive presence for Clare in Saturday’s Allianz Hurling League Final. The tigerish corner-back made a couple of vital blocks that stymied Kilkenny goal chances and hurled throughout with impressive tenacity.
Aidan McCarthy – Clare
Aidan McCarthy’s clinical finishing was vital to Clare’s Allianz Hurling League Final victory over Kilkenny. The lethal attacker finished with a personal tall of 2-10, with both goals cracking finishes.
Cian Kenny – Kilkenny
Cian Kenny really took the fight to Clare in the Allianz Hurling League Final. The Cats midfielder battled hard in the middle third and scored two sweet points from play.
