The first of four provincial pitch maintenance education days will take place at Liatroim Fontenoys GAC in Down on Saturday, November 30th.
Run by the GAA National Pitch Work Group, the provincial education days are a unique opportunity for groundspersons, club officers and others to become better informed about pitch management and to see some practical aspects of greenkeeping at club level.
Attendees at the Ulster pitch maintenance education day will hear from experts in the field such as Croke Park Groundsman, Sean Foran, Ian McClements of iTurf Management, and Brian O’Shaugnessy of Campey Turfcare Systems.
