Munster crowned M. Donnelly GAA Wheelchair Hurling/Camogie All-Ireland champions

Munster are the are M. Donnelly All-Ireland Wheelchair Hurling/Camogie Champions again after an impressive victory over Leinster in the final at SETU Carlow today.

Played on a blitz format, the southern province were very deserving champions, recording victories over the three other provinces.

The first match they played against Ulster was the toughest of the lot, but eventually Munster just about won what was a thrilling contest on a scoreline of 6-1 to 5-0.

They then defeated Leinster by 8-0 to 4-0 and Connacht by 4-1, before playing Leinster again in the final itself.

Captained by Darren Dineen, Munster saved their best performance until last, as they outscored Leinster by 5-0 to 0-1 to retain their All-Ireland title.
