The public has voted Cork’s Pádraig Power this week’s GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
The Cork forward received 4,203 votes on the GAA's official Instagram page which put him ahead of Tipperary’s Dylan Walsh (2,829), and Kilkenny’s Martin Keoghan (2,730).
Pádraig Power – Cork
Pádraig Power really caught the eye while hitting 1-4 from play for Cork in their victory over Wexford. A beautifully balanced hurler with quick wrists and an eye for a score, he could have a big season ahead of him.
Dylan Walsh – Tipperary
Ballingarry club-man, Dylan Walsh, had a League debut to remember for Tipperary. The fleet-footed corner-forward scored 1-3 from play and also engineered a couple of other goal-chances for himself. He looks like a very promising talent.
Martin Keoghan – Kilkenny
Martin Keoghan was tremendous for Kilkenny in their hard-fought victory over Clare scoring five points from play, many of them of the spectacular variety.
Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
