There has been no shortage of Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup drama in the early weeks of the year.
Ulster University and UCD have navigated a path to Wednesday evening's decider.
Two teams remain standing following plenty of intriguing encounters throughout the competition.
Finishing with a flourish against University of Galway at the quarter-final stage, UCD signalled their intentions.
Ben O'Carroll's availability added an extra dimension to an already talented attack.
John Divilly's organised outfit have generated momentum, but they will be fully aware of the potent threat Ulster University carry.

Inevitably, the Canavan brothers, Darragh and Ruairí, supply craft inside, while Niall Loughlin's goal against Maynooth University mattered deeply in the penultimate round.
TU Dublin and Maynooth University had enjoyed encouraging moments in the 2024 Sigerson, but Ulster University adequately dealt with their challenge.
UCD, the most prolific winners of the Sigerson, with 34 victories, have a panel nicely stacked with in form inter-county players making an impact in the Allianz Football League. Laois goalkeeper Killian Roche has remarkably kicked 0-10 in two matches, including five from play.
Rory Brickenden and Sam Callinan have been prominent for Mayo, while Diarmuid Moriarty, Daire Cregg, and Aaron Lynch are other promising footballers.
Ulster University have been hugely effective in recent weeks with Oisín McCann and Ben McCarron landing vital scores in the triumph over Maynooth.
Josh Largo Ellis and Peter Óg McCartan'e energetic approach has been a real feature for Ulster University, who are looking to secure a first title since 2008.
