Busy and chaotic, the Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup has been packed with intrigue this year.
UCD and DCU Dóchas Eireann, who clashed in Round 2A at Belfield, are the last two survivors, who venture west for the decider staged at the splendid Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
Class players are sprinkled throughout two panels, who have demonstrated resilience to reach this stage.
UCD, managed by the highly regarded John Divilly, edged out DCU Dóchas Éireann in Belfield with Theo Clancy's goal a key score.
Since then, though, DCU Dóchas have demonstrated their considerable ability with the semi-final success over a talented Ulster University site a significant result.
Johnny McGroddy clipped four points from play in that triumph, while Luke Marren and Ciarán Caulfield also notched important scores.
UCD eventually defeated TU Dublin in the last four as penalties were required.
Ryan O'Toole, Cormac Egan, and Daire Cregg are key performers for UCD, who last triumphed in the competition in 2018.
