Two clubs have embarked on brilliant adventures to reach Croke Park.
Following two relegations in a row, An Cheathrú Rua have responded impressively, winning Galway and Connacht titles.
The fact that emerging players are contributing to the cause is a source of optimism for An Cheathrú Rua, who will be looking to Feargal Ó Sé and Éanna MacCormaic for inspiration.
Naomh Padraig have enjoyed a thrilling campaign too, winning a penalty shoot out against Cork's Kilmurry in the penultimate round.
Kevin Lynch supplied vital scores in that match, while Caolan McColgan was also hugely effective.

Ballinderry Shamrocks v Crossmolina Deel Rovers, Croke Park, 1.30pm, Sport TG4
It has been a harrowing time for everyone associated with the Crossmolina Deel Rovers.
Due to tragic events this fixture was postponed a fortnight ago.
Ballinderry Shamrocks' demonstrated their considerable ability at the semi-final stage when overcoming Austin Stacks.
Inevitably Gareth McKinless was a commanding figure for Ballinderry, while Conor O'Neill and Ryan Bell also contributed handsomely.
Crossmolina have carried out significant work at underage in the past decade and that has been reflected at adult level recently.
Jordan Flynn is an influential figure for Crossmolina, while Fionan Duffy clipped important points when defeating Caragh.
