Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup Round Three

Ulster University 1-16 MTU Cork 2-7

DCU Dóchas Éireann 0-21 TUS Midlands 0-8

Conor Cush and Darragh Canavan were key performers as Ulster University advanced to the Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup Quarter-Finals.

Ulster University were crafty enough to defeat a spirited MTU Cork 1-16 to 2-7.

MTU Cork started brightly, moving 2-2 to 0-1 in front with Ryan O'Donovan and Jack Cahalane grabbing goals.

Niall Loughlin contributed 1-1, while Ben McCarron scored three points for a talented Ulster University outfit.

DCU Dóchas Éireann, with Mathew Costello and Conor Corbett effective again, were always in control when defeating TUS Midlands 0-21 to 0-8.

Paddy Christie's charges dominated the opening period, departing 0-12 to 0-1 ahead at the turnaround.

TUS Midlands improved after the restart, but DCU Dóchas Éireann were never seriously troubled.
