Connacht, Munster and Leinster shared the spoils at this year’s Scór Sinsir All-Ireland Finals in Killarney's wonderful INEC Theatre last Saturday, 18th of November. Connacht and Munster each captured 3 titles while Leinster captured the remaining 2 titles. There was double joy for Galway club, Mainistir Chnoc Muaidhe (Abbeyknockmoy), who captured the Bailéad-Ghrúpa and Ceol Uirlise titles in front of an audience in excess of 1,200.
In the dancing competitions Uíbh Fhailí's CLG Bhiorra took the honours in the Rince Foirne competition while Ciarraí's CLG An Spá took the honours in the Rince Seit.
Ail Finn’s Sorcha Ní Chatháin from Ros Comáin won the ‘Amhránaíocht Aonair’ competition while Mairéad Uí Ghráda from CLG Mhóin na nGé took the honours in the ‘Aithriseoireacht’ competition.
CLG Charn an Bhua from Cill Mhantáin took the honours in the ‘Nuachleas’ in what was an emotional day for the club.
The Tráth na gCeist competition was won by CLG Shráid an Mhuilinn, Corcaigh.
