Damien Comer has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Galway star received 5, 154 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Armagh's Conor Turbitt (2, 636) and Clare's Keelan Sexton (2, 317).

Damien Comer (Galway)

Damien Comer was at his brilliant best as Galway defeated Roscommon in the Connacht SFC at Dr Hyde Park. The Annaghdown clubman scored 1-4 from play for Pádraic Joyce's team.

Conor Turbitt (Armagh)

The in-form Conor Turbitt impressed again as Armagh proved too strong for Cavan in the Ulster SFC at Kingspan Breffni. Turbitt clipped seven points for Armagh.

Keelan Sexton (Clare)

These are encouraging times for Clare with Keelan Sexton making a significant impact for Colm Collins' outfit. Sexton contributed 1-4 in Saturday's Munster SFC win over Limerick.
