The Mayo forward received 4,006 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Galway's Paul Conroy (2, 862) and Tyrone's Mattie Donnelly (2, 602).

Jack Carney (Mayo)
Jack Carney delivered another dynamic display for Mayo against Roscommon in the Allianz Football League. Carney, outstanding throughout, contributed 1-1 for Kevin McStay's team.
Paul Conroy (Galway)
St James' clubman Paul Conroy was a key figure as Galway defeated Monaghan in a crucial encounter at Pearse Stadium. Conroy, commanding at centrefield, clipped three points, including a sweet first half effort from play.
Mattie Donnelly (Tyrone)
Tyrone needed a positive result against Kerry at O'Neill's Healy Park with Mattie Donnelly an influential figure for the home team. The excellent Donnelly struck three points for Tyrone.
