Kerry selector Mikey Sheehy has confirmed that Killian Young is the only current injury concern ahead of the Munster Senior Football Championship.
Donnchadh Walsh and Kieran Donaghy have returned to training with Eamonn Fitzmaurice's team. Young is suffering with a groin problem, but is back doing light sessions.
Sheehy admitted that Young may still be available for Kerry's opener against Clare or Limerick in Killarney on June 3. "Possibly, but I wouldn’t be putting my house on it yet," Sheehy says.
"He hasn’t had any contact as such, physical football. The rest of the lads should be, and with the club April month was grand, some of then played three club games, a lot of them played five games and touch wood most of them came out injury free. That’s put to bed now and we’re looking forward to the Championship."
The highly regarded Sheehy is delighted that Donaghy and Walsh are back in the Kerry fold. "Donaghy played basketball with the Warriors over the winter," Sheehy added.
"He’s come back in good condition, he’s played a few club games as well and he’s doing nicely in training.
"Donnchadh is kind of a freak of nature in relation to his fitness. He’s a guy that would never go out of condition – he’s one of these Duracell bunnies, he never stops running. He’s come back very fresh and looks good in training."
