Donegal attacker Odhrán Mac Niallais has come out on top in the public vote for this week's GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The flying wing-forward was superb for 14-man Donegal when they battled their way past the challenge of Fermanagh in Sunday's Ulster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final.
His Man of the Match display has earned him 43 per cent of the votes cast on the GAA's official Twitter (@officialgaa), Facebook, and Instagram pages.
That was enough for him to push Tipperary's Brian Fox into second and Roscommon's Ciaran Murtagh into third.
GAA.ie Footballer of the Week
1: Odhrán Mac Niallais - 3233 (43 per cent)
2: Brian Fox - 2394 (32 per cent)
3: Ciaran Murtagh - 1828 (25 per cent)
At the age of 23, Odhrán Mac Niallais is already one of the key leaders in the Donegal team and also deserves to be regarded as one of the best forwards in the country now.
The classy left-footed half-forward was superb for 14-man Donegal on Sunday as he scored the two decisive goals that effectively killed the Fermanagh challenge.
Both of them were brilliant finishes. The first was a piledriver that cannoned into the net off the the underside of the cross-bar, and the second was a really smart palmed finish under pressure.
28-year-old Brian Fox has been one of Tipperary's best footballers for a good few years now and was absolutely outstanding in the Premier County's victory over Cork on Sunday.
The wing-forward scored 1-1 from play and also played key roles in Tipperary's other two goals scored by Conor Sweeney and Michael Quinlivan.
Apart from providing Tipp with a sharp cutting edge in attack, Fox also foraged very effectively for possession in his own half and his ability to carry the ball at pace was a feature of his performance.
Roscommon badly needed some leaders to step forward when they trailed Sligo by eight points at half-time of their Connacht SFC Semi-Final on Sunday, and team captain Ciaran Murtagh obliged.
He was at the heart of everything good they did in the second-half as they threw off the shackles and attacked with abandon.
He scored a brilliant goal that brought the teams level and then showed good mental strength to convert a crucial penalty as he finished with a personal tally of 2-2.
