Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has been granted a two year extension to his current term.
It ensures that Rochford is ratified as Mayo boss until the end of the 2020 campaign.
Rochford, who guided the Green and Red to All Ireland finals in 2016 and 2017, will confirm his backroom team shortly.
A Wednesday evening statement from Mayo GAA confirmed the news. "Following a meeting of the Mayo County Board in Elvery's MacHale Park tonight Mayo football manager Stephen Rochford has been given a two year extension to his current deal meaning he has been ratified until 2020.
"All involved with Mayo GAA thank Stephen and his team for the all the time and hard work already contributed to the Mayo Senior Football team and are delighted he has committed to Mayo GAA for the coming years."
