Colm Moran impressed for Westport at Croke Park on Sunday.

Westport teenager Colm Moran has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The AIB All Ireland Intermediate Club winner with Westport earned 3,471 votes for his impressive performance at Croke Park on Sunday.

Glenbeigh-Glencar's Darran O'Sullivan was second, while Independent.ie Sigerson Cup winning captain for St Mary's, Belfast, Conor Meyler, was third in the votes cast on the GAA's official Twitter (@officialgaa), Facebook, and Instagram pages.

1: Colm Moran (Westport) - 3471 (43%)

2: Darran O'Sullivan (Glenbeigh-Glencar) - 2807 (35%)

3: Conor Meyler (St Mary's, Belfast) - 1824 (22%)

Leaving Cert student Colm Moran was top of the class for Westport in their AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Football Final win over St. Colmcilles of Meath yesterday.

The classy corner-forward scored four sweet points from play and showed why he was a member of the Mayo minor football team last year.

Quick, skillful, and a clincial finisher, don't be surprised if he graduates onto the Mayo senior football team before too long.

Kerry star Darran O'Sullivan was an all-action hero for his club Glenbeigh-Glencar as they defeated Rock St. Patrick's of Tyrone in Sunday's AIB All-Ireland Club Junior Footabll Final.

He scored 1-3 from play, with the goal coming after just two minutes when he finished a left-footed shot  to the right-hand corner of the net.

He picked up a leg injury that left him hobbling for the second-half but he played through the pain and fisted over an insurance point deep into injury-time.

Conor Meyler was a real Captain Fantastic for St. Mary's University, Belfast, as they pulled off a shock by beating UCD in Saturday's Sigerson Cup Final.

St. Mary's recovered from the set-back of conceding two early goals and that was in no small part due to centre-back Meyler who drove his team forward at every opportunity with strong running and accurate distribution.

He also scored a brilliant first-half point at a time when St. Mary's needed some inspiration.
