When Limerick needed scores and inspiration against Cork Aaron Gillane delivered in style.
The Patrickswell clubman finished with a 0-13 haul including six points from play as Limerick secured their first All Ireland final appearance since 2007.
The Mannion brothers were instrumental for Galway during the weekend's memorable match with Clare.
Padraic Mannion produced another splendid display for Micheal Donoghue's team, who now face Clare at Semple Stadium in next Saturday's replay.
So many Clare players contributed handsomely, but Colm Galvin's switch to a deep lying role altered Saturday's compelling contest significantly.
Galvin made several critical interventions, while also stitching the play together nicely when Clare goalkeeper Donal Tuohy opted to go short.
