A tight All Ireland Semi-Final went the distance so Brian Molloy's 10 point haul was crucial.

The Kilnadeema-Leitrim sharpshooter struck four scores in extra-time as Galway finished strongly.

Part of Micheal Donoghue's senior panel Molloy showed why he is rated as an exciting prospect in the west.

Waterford controlled their match against Antrim with Patrick Curran effective in attack.

Curran ended the game with a personal tally of 2-7 as a star studded Waterford advanced to the decider.

The Dungarvan forward led by example and Antrim were unable to stop the Waterford captain.

Playing against the wind in the first half Galway were assisted by some excellent work from Dan Nevin.

The Galway midfielder finished the match with three points, including a delightful sideline cut.

Nevin did well at midfield alongside Cappataggle colleague Darragh Dolan.
