Development CCC has confirmed the following for the 2024 Táin Óg and CúChulainn competitions.

  • Táin Óg will be played at U14, U16 and U18
  • Táin Óg games at U14 and U16 will be played on Monday nights (with additional weekend Finals/Blitz Days)
  • U18 Táin Óg will be played across 4 dates as multi-club blitzes on Sundays
  • CúChulainn competitions will be played on Wednesday night with Semi-Finals and Finals on Saturdays.

Before the application process is opened, clubs and counties can attend an online information session on Tuesday, January 9 to ask questions on competition structures and formats. We would strongly encourage that Clubs have representation of the appropriate personnel at this information session.

To register for the information session fill out the Attendance Form by Friday, January 5.

Applications for the U14 & U16 Competitions will open on Wednesday, January 10, and close on Friday January 26.

Applications for the U18 and CúChulainn Competitions will open in March to ensure that more accurate applications are received closer to the competition start dates.
