Two late Limerick goals at the Gaelic Grounds sealed a satisfying Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship success over Clare.
Substitutes Josh Ryan and Cian Magner Flynn pounced in the closing stages as a promising Limerick outfit finished strongly.
Ian Murray registered an early goal for Clare, who started brightly, but the teams departed level at the break, 0-7 to 1-4.
At Walsh Park a lively Cork side, inspired by Evan Sheehan, produced a fine second half display to eventually defeat Waterford by four points.
Trailing 1-6 to 0-8 at the interval Cork restricted Waterford after the restart to emerge deserving winners.
Waterford now face Tipperary at home in the play/off round with Clare’s next fixture against the loser of that tie.
