Hurler of the Week nominations
Daithi Burke - Galway
Daithi Burke has played in a few different defensive roles for Galway and gave a towering performance in the full back line against Clare.
Burke, who hurls with Turloughmore, is a dual star having won an All Ireland club football title with Corofin.
When Clare went direct Burke had the ability to gather aerial deliveries.
Kevin Moran - Waterford
Kevin Moran's relevance to the Waterford cause shouldn't be underestimated.
At Semple Stadium Moran offered further evidence of his ability helping to steer Waterford to a convincing win over Wexford.
Moran was instrumental for the Deise, who controlled the majority of the game.
Aidan Harte - Galway
Who occupies a sweeping role continues to dominate hurling discussions so Aidan Harte's display was monitored with interest.
The versatile Gort star delivered an accomplished display for Galway against Clare.
In the closing stages Harte even nailed a vital point for Micheal Donoghue's team.
