Liam Cahill has been appointed as the new Waterford senior hurling manager.
The highly rated Cahill replaces Paraic Fanning, who stepped down from the role in August.
Cahill has enjoyed significant success with his native Tipperary, guiding the blue and gold to All Ireland victories at minor, Under 20, and Under 21 level in recent years.
Michael Bevans will be involved as a coach in the Waterford set-up, while the rest of the backroom team will be announced shortly.
