A year ago Wexford earned a crucial League victory in Salthill to really signal their intent.

Galway subsequently embarked on a 15 match winning streak before losing to Limerick last Sunday.

Fluid in the first half, Galway were flat in the second period against a pumped up Limerick.

Wexford are likely to be similarly determined under Davy Fitzgerald. Retaining Division 1A status was the initial brief. Now Wexford want to push for silverware.
