Five of the Waterford senior hurling team that were beaten by Tipperary in Sunday’s Munster Final have been named in the U-21 side that plays Clare in the Energy Munster U21 semi-final on Wednesday night (7pm).
Austin Gleeson, Shane Bennett, and Patrick Curran all started against Tipp, while Tom Devine and Conor Gleeson came on as subs in the second-half.
Clare have also named a strong team that includes three senior players in Aron Shanagher, David Fitzgerald, and Bobby Duggan.
