Sigerson Cup: Ollscoil Mhá Nuad Venue v Ollscoil na Banríona**

**In relation to the above game, it was alleged Ollscoil na Banríona CLG (Queens University Belfast GAA) were in breach of Comhairle Ardoideachais CLG (Higher Education GAA) Constitution & Bye-Laws 2015/2016. It was alleged that Ciaran O hAnluain, Gréagóir Mac Cába and Máirtín Ó Cléirigh, played whilst ineligible.

Comhairle Ardoideachais instituted Disciplinary Action and proposed penalties against Ollscoil na Banríona CLG, its Cathaoirleach, Runaí, Banisteoir and the players in question. Urgent Hearings were requested by all seven Defending Parties and these were schedule for Saturday 6ú Feabhra at 12:00pm.

Four of the Defending Parties failed to attend their requested Hearing. An Lár Choiste Éisteachta adjourned the Hearing for one Defending Party due to a medical issue, which was considered a reasonable explanation. The other three Defending Parties did not provide a reasonable explanation for their nonattendance and therefore the Proposed Penalty was imposed, as per Rule 7.3(y) GAA Official Guide 2015, i.e. a 12 week suspension from all functions, privileges and Competitions under the control of Comhairle Ardoideachais.

At the resulting Hearings for Ollscoil na Banríona, its Runaí and Gréagóir Mac Cába, An Lár Choiste Éisteachta (The Central Hearings Committee) found the Infractions alleged were not proven and ordered the Disciplinary Action to be at an end.
