Newcestown's Carathach Keane struck two goals as they cruised to an emphatic win over Ilen Rovers.
Eoghan McGreevy's major was the key score of the game for St Finbarr's, who defeated Ballincollig, while Luke Connolly impressed for Nemo Rangers against Valley Rovers. Classy Cork forward Connolly clipped 2-3 for the holders.

There was no shortage of Dr Hyde Park drama on Saturday evening when Clann na nGael staged a comeback to divide the Roscommon SFC Group A spoils with St Brigid's.
Despite leaking 1-8 without reply, Clann na nGael responded with Ciaran Lennon's late goal and a sensational last gasp point from Cathal Shine ensured parity prevailed.
Another draw took place between defending champions Padraig Pearses and Boyle.
The influential Enda Smith was sent off for Boyle, but Pearses came storming from 12 points down to avoid defeat.
James Bolger, Donie Smith, and Enda Smith struck goals for Boyle, who led 3-7 to 0-4 early in the second period.
Hubert D'Arcy converted a penalty, while Tom Butler also rattled the Boyle net during a tense finish.
Michael Glaveys, Western Gaels, St Croan's, and Elphin all registered wins.

Clontibret and Ballybay played out an exciting 1-9 each stalemate in the Monaghan SFC.
Managed by John McEntee Clontibret were under duress initially as Ballybay, prompted by a Shane McGuinness goal, were 1-6 to 0-5 ahead at the break.
Substitute Vinny Corey made an instant impact netting a goal for Clontibret, who edged in front late on, but Ballybay stayed cool to force a draw.
Magheracloone, Scotstown, and Latton O'Rahilly's earned Monaghan SFC victories.
