Meetings of An Coiste Bainistíochta and Ard Chomhairle took place last night and today respectively. The following decisions were taken:
· S. S. Ó Cearbhail was appointed as an Coiste Bainistíochta Liasion to Iar-Bhunscoilleanna
· To approve the Allianz League Accounts showing record gates and attendances
· To hold a special meeting of Ard Chomhairle on 10ú Meitheamh 2023 to consider proposals on Board Diversity and the Report of the Ard Chomhairle Review Workgroup with a view to preparing Motions for Comhdháil Speisialta on 30th Meán Fómhair
· To approve Guidelines for seeking clarification from the Referee
· To update the January 2015 Directive regarding Alternative Penalty as result of Motions approved at Comhdháil 2023
· To approve hurley dimensions as recommended by the Sliotar & Hurley Workgroup as follows:
o Juvenile (Child) up to and including 26” Hurley - Maximum Bas of 15cm
o Junior (Youth) up to and including 30” Hurley - Maximum bas of 16cm
o Senior (Adult)30” up to and including 36”Hurley - Maximum bas of 17cm
o Adult Goalkeeper Hurley maximum bas size of 21cm
· To trial playing rule changes (as proposed by the Standing Committee on Playing Rules in December 2022) in the Higher Education Freshers 1 Competitions and to include an amendment to the handpass in hurling in those trials
