Cavan GAA proudly announces the official opening of the newly developed wheelchair and accessibility space at Kingspan Breffni.

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to improving facilities, enhancing inclusivity, and ensuring game enjoyment for all members, especially those with differing needs.

Inclusion remains a core value of Cavan GAA as we strive to foster greater awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities when attending games and events.

This project is a collaborative effort between Wilton Recycling and Cavan GAA. Partnering with Wilton Recycling has enabled us to position Kingspan Breffni at the forefront of inclusive stadiums, catering to our entire GAA family—Where we all belong.

Raising awareness around accessibility is a key priority for Cavan GAA. Our dedicated Health and Wellbeing Committee has been working diligently to improve stadium infrastructure, including the installation of ramps, dedicated parking spaces, and specialised toilet facilities.

These enhancements are located alongside the Sensory Room, significantly adding to the enjoyment of our members with differing needs when attending games and events.

"Accessibility is not just a legal requirement, but a moral imperative," said Tony Ryan, Chairperson of Cavan GAA's Health and Wellbeing committee.

"We are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can fully enjoy the excitement and community spirit of our games."
