Dormant accounts funding is designed to support clubs in the provision of inclusive programmes and supports for people with a disability.
The Gaelic Games Associations were awarded Dormant Accounts funding for 2025. This funding opportunity is open to all clubs in the 26-counties affiliated to the GAA (including Handball and Rounders clubs), LGFA and Camogie Association.
To avoid separate/multiple application submissions from Gaelic games sections of the same club, those operating under the 'One Club Model' should use this application form only once.
This funding is designed to support clubs in the provision of inclusive programmes and supports for people with a disability. The funding must be used to support new inclusive initiates and/or enhance those already established in Gaelic Games clubs.
Disability Inclusion Programme Scheme
This scheme is available to clubs to apply for funding to support the initiation of an inclusion programme that aims to provide opportunity for persons within their communities to engage in Gaelic games club activity, which can be the All-Stars Programme, Inclusive Camp or another proposed initiative to meet the club needs in regard to people with a disability within their community.
- Clubs commencing a new programme may apply for €2,000
- Clubs building on existing initiatives may apply for €1,000.
The online funding application process will remain open until 5.00pm on Monday 21st April.
Successful clubs will be informed no later than 2nd May 2025. Applying does not guarantee that funding will be approved. The application requires sign-off by a member of your club executive and usage of an official @gaa.ie @lgfa.ie or @camogie.ie email address linked to your club executive (e.g. chair, secretary, treasurer, PRO, Healthy Club officer). All correspondence related to this funding application will be communicated to the email provided in the application form only.
