Ryan O'Donoghue starred in Mayo's important win over Kerry at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park. The Belmullet forward rifled over brilliant scores, finishing with a nine point haul for Kevin McStay's outfit.
Barry McCambridge (Armagh)
All-Ireland champions Armagh produced a dynamic display to overcome Dublin at BOX-IT Athletic Grounds on Saturday evening with Barry McCambridge an influential figure. McCambridge also scampered forward to net a vital goal.
Ciarán Thompson (Donegal)
Donegal staged a dramatic comeback against Derry at Ballyshannon with Ciarán Thompson hugely effective for Jim McGuinness' team. Thompson contributed six points for Donegal during a frenetic encounter.
