Brian Hayes – Cork

Brian Hayes was the star of Cork’s superb first-half performance against Clare in the first round of the Munster SHC. The Banner County defence couldn’t handle his power, pace and deadly finishing as he finished the game with a personal tally of 2-2.

Peter Duggan – Clare

No-one did more to inspire Clare’s second-half comeback against Cork in the first round of the Munster SHC than Peter Duggan. His ability to win ball on the edge of the square sent tremors through the Cork defence as he scored 1-1 from play.

Shane O’Brien – Limerick

Shane ‘The Bull’ O’Brien showed again why he’s a rising star of the game in Limerick’s Munster SHC draw with Tipperary. Still only 20, he showed great leadership in attack as he won the vast majority of balls hit his way and finished with a personally tally of 1-4 from play.
