Mike Solan is set to be ratified as the new Longford senior football team manager.
Solan, who guided Mayo to All-Ireland U21 glory in 2016, succeeds Paddy Christie in charge of the midlanders'.
In 2022 and 2023 Solan served as Leitrim assistant manager to Andy Moran.
Longford GAA's management committee will be recommending a three year term for Solan to club delegates at the next meeting of the County Board.
