MTU Kerry caused an Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup shock in Tralee on Tuesday evening.

The home team produced a dynamic display to overcome UCC, who also lost to UCD on Friday.

From early on, it was apparent that MTU Kerry were primed for a battle as they landed five of the first six points.

When the interval rolled around, MTU Kerry led 0-8 to 0-4.

Immediately after the restart Keith Evans pounced to score a goal for a pumped up MTU Kerry.

Conor O'Sullivan netted a second major for MTU Kerry in the 47th minute as they moved 2-10 to 0-6 clear.

Conor McMahon and Killian Falvey replied with consolation goals for UCC, but MTU Kerry deservedly prevailed.
