Nickie Quaid will make a sensational return to the Limerick starting XV for their Munster SHC first round clash against Tipperary on Sunday.
The three-time All-Star ruptured a cruciate ligament last November but has made a full recovery from the injury in just five months.
Tipperary, meanwhile, have made to changes to the team beaten by Cork in the Allianz Hurling League Final two weeks ago as John McGrath comes in for Gearoid O’Connor and Darragh Stakelum replaces Willie Connors.
