The Armagh star received 7,116 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of his team-mate Barry McCambridge (4,509) and Galway’s Céin D’Arcy.

Barry McCambridge (Armagh)
In the All-Ireland series Barry McCambridge has flourished for Armagh. Sunday's All-Ireland SFC Final featured another excellent defensive display from the in form McCambridge.
Céin D'Arcy (Galway)
Industrious throughout, Céin D'Arcy was brilliant for Galway in the All-Ireland SFC Final. D'Arcy kicked three points and his hard running caused Armagh bother.
