At the end of Round Two, four teams will have exited the 2025 Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup.

The four 2B matches are knockout games so there shouldn't be any shortage of drama.

Following disappointing first round losses, University of Galway and Queens clash.

University of Galway only managed to register two points from play against a Jordan Morris inspired TUD so significant improvement will be required.

Ryan McQuillan impressed for Queens, who were eventually soundly beaten by St Mary's late flourish.

ATU Sligo and ATU Galway will be anxious to respond following heavy defeats.

Holders Ulster University proved far too strong for ATU Sligo despite the efforts of Matthew Carey and Daire O'Boyle.

Paul Kelly and Nathan Grainger battled for ATU Galway in their loss to UL.

UCC, with the influential and inspiring Billy Morgan still involved on the line, face MTU Kerry.

In Enniscorthy on Friday, UCD shrugged off UCC's resistance with Conor Daly and Killian Falvey prominent for Morgan's outfit.

MTU Kerry's return to Sigerson Cup action culminated in an emphatic defeat to DCU Dóchas Eireann.

Darragh O'Connor was effective for MTU Kerry, who know that another demanding contest looms against UCC.

Maynooth University lost to TUS Midlands and now face ATU Donegal, who were beaten by MTU Cork.

Eoghan Frayne, Conor Duke, and Luke Crowley scored handsomely from play for Maynooth so ATU Donegal will need to be diligent defensively.

ATU Donegal were blitzed early on by MTU Cork, responded defiantly after the restart with Neil Francis Boyle and Oisín Caulfield to the fore.

In the winners section, another triumph will send teams into the quarter-final stages.

Whoever loses in Round 2A will meet one of the Round 2B victors in the last 12.

So, the Dublin derby involving UCD and DCU Dóchas Eireann should be lively.

Inevitably Daire Cregg occupied a central role in UCD's success over UCC with Aaron Lynch and Barry McNulty also contributing.

Senan Baker, Tom Prior, and Conor Dolan were effective in DCU Dóchas Eireann's commanding win over MTU Kerry.

Ulster University and UL are buoyed up following comfortable first round games.

Danny Magill was in splendid form for Ulster University, while Conor Cush, Danny Fullerton, and Lorcan McGarrity also delivered against ATU Sligo.

Darragh Heneghan (1-6) and Seán McDonnell (1-4) were prominent in UL's victory over ATU Galway.

TUS Midlands produced a dynamic display when overcoming Maynooth University and will be looking to Brian Cooney and Matthew Whittaker to achieve similar levels against MTU Cork.

Edward Myers, Keith O'Driscoll, and Alan Dunwoody impressed for MTU Cork last time out.

St Mary's tussle with TUD is another attractive game involving two outfits, who believe that significant progress can be made.

The Ranch were excellent in the closing stages against Queens with Niall McKenna and Seán Rock the main protagonists.

Morris, Cormac McGeough, and Darragh Lovett nailed crucial points as TUD beat University of Galway in Grangegorman.
